The first one I bought.....arrived promptly, but then broke my heart by having two broken legs, and a bad corner where the leather was messed up. I followed the protocol to return it, and Amazon. com was AMAZING getting it back to the warehouse, and sending me a new one. No hassles there. The replacement came w/ two really wobbly legs. The problem seems to be that a good product is getting beat up in the transit, and shoddy packaging offers little to no protection to the items weak point- the legs. I did not return the second one- b/c I truly love the ottoman- I had my husband drive in screws to tighten up the legs. And given that similar products on line cost double, I am not devastated. It would have been nice to receive the ottoman in perfect shape. But after having received two, in the same flimsy type box, I figured that wobbly legs were better than broken ones. It is very sturdy and there is plenty of storage space. There is a divider in the middle. The only thing I didn't like about it was that it looks black instead of brown. The color of the wood looks black as well. Luckily I was able to use it in a different area of my house, but if you are buying this to match your furniture in a brown color, don't cause it won't match.
